Information Desk Volunteer

Our information desk is the perfect opportunity for someone who is outgoing and eager to help our patients and family members when they are entering and exiting our hospital. Way finding, helping at our express check in kiosk, and answering phones are just a few of the tasks that are expected of our information desk volunteers. Our volunteer will be one of the first people our guests see when they enter the hospital. Training will be provided until the new volunteer is completely comfortable on their own. Emergency Room Assistant

Working closely with the ER staff, you will be in charge of answering call lights, way finding for family members, help with stocking supplies and cleaning up rooms after the patient has been discharged. You will also help to monitor comfort of patients and visitors in the waiting area, offer warm blankets and other comfort measures. No two days are ever the same in the E.D.
