For our Fall Fundraising and Gala campaign:

Development person(s):

Days/hours TBD starting June 20

Duties: to identify and bring in new supporters, donors, and board members

Event assistants for our Fall Fundraising Gala :

From June 20 over the summer, 1-2 days per week, 2-3 hours per day;

Office:

help with updating donor files, mailing out invitations, contacting press, Silent Auction items

Fall Gala location in Beverly Hills private home:

help set up tables, chairs, Silent Auction items, help display Whole Foods catering attractively; check in guests; interface with guests; generally provide a welcome atmosphere to the donors and supporters attending; anything random that may come up!

Mission Statement

Luminario Ballet presents national/international professional contemporary ballet en pointe and cutting edge Cirque du Soleil style aerial dance to general audiences. Luminario Ballet tours, and presents an annual repertory Season in Los Angeles. Choreographers range from well known such as Michael Smuin and Bella Lewitzky to emerging talents such as Josie Walsh, Jamal Story, and award winning director Judith FLEX Helle. Luminario Ballet represents the vibrant, exceptional, talented and diverse LA population. Luminario Ballet has toured India via a grant from the US Department of State, and in the US: NY, TX, FLA.

Description

Luminario Ballet is a woman-led, boutique, non profit Los Angeles dance company ranging from 8- 12 dancers and a small core of staff.

Luminario Ballet has a rotating choreorgapher roster, selected carefully each year by artistic director Judith FLEX Helle.
