Join us at the CCJ Thrift Store! No prior experience required to volunteer!
Importance to the mission: This vital volunteer provides a friendly and welcoming presence to incoming customers, effectively acting as an ambassador of CCJ and a liaison between customers and all Thrift Store departments. Operation of the Thrift Store contributes revenue for CCJ’s myriad of other programs which serve the mission of alleviating poverty in Yavapai County. The CCJ Thrift Store also gives out clothing to those in need through its clothing voucher program.
Location: CCJ’s Thrift Store, 1034 Fair St, Prescott
Thrift Store Open Hours:
Monday through Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm
Key Responsibilities:
Operate electronic cash register and credit card equipment
Bag merchandise
Act as liaison between customers and Thrift Shop departments
Answer telephone, assist with customer and donor inquiries
Maintain clean cashier station
Assist customers with clothing vouchers
Other duties as requested

Excellent customer service skills
Time commitment: 2 month minimum; at least one 3 hr shift per week
Requirements:
Attend orientation and placement interview
At least 18 years of age
Background check is required for this position
Dress code: Casual
No revealing clothing
Must wear CCJ apron (provided onsite at the Thrift Store) and closed-toe shoes
This position reports to: Thrift Store Manager
Job-specific training provided onsite
