Description: The Volunteer Manager/Mentor will be responsible for mentoring the design interns at Thaddeus. They will direct and lead planning, development and implementation of all of Thaddeus’s design projects and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise and mentor 5 to 10 interns on the Design Committee
- Oversee and assist in various Design processes, including but not limited to: graphic design, website design, social media design, etc.
Requirements:
- Have completed a degree in Design or related studies
- 10+ years’ experience working in the Design field
- Excellent computer skills, such HTML and web design along with Microsoft office
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools and ability to teach these
- Possess strong personal integrity and ethical principles
- Possess strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Develop creative and new ideas
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Time Commitment and Working Conditions:
The responsibilities for this role are performed 100% remotely
- Must be available for the following VIRTUAL weekly meetings:
- Weekly All Staff Meeting: Mondays 10 AM -11 AM PST
- Weekly Back-Office Meetings: Fridays 1:00 - 3:00 PM PST
