The Vancouver Ride to Conquer Cancer is an annual 2-day bike ride to raise money for the BC Cancer Foundation. Each year over 2000 Riders ride from Surrey, BC to Redmond, Washington. Since it's inception in 2009, the Ride has raised over 60 million dollars! Together, our fundraising dollars help provide money to cancer research, care and treatment for those in need. We are looking for volunteer and crew members to help us make the ride a success.
Our 2017 event will take place the weekend of August 26-27 th. Crew members are with us for the full weekend and have access to the same amenities as the riders including transportation, tents, food, drinks, hot showers, live entertainment, yoga, massage and more. With the help of our Crew, we set up Pit Stops along the route for Riders to refuel and refresh themselves as well as having many more teams to join.

They Ride in hope, to commemorate life, to honor lives lost, to celebrate survival, and to contribute to finding a cure.
Description
The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique two day bike ride from Vancouver to Seattle happening on August 29th - 30th 2015. All funds raised in the event benefit cancer research, treatment and education programs. On Saturday, August 29th th Participants in the event ride from Vancouver to Mount Vernon. They finish the first day at The Ride to Conquer Cancer Camp at in Mount Vernon. On Sunday August 30th Participants ride from Mt. Vernon to Redmond, WA.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with set-up, take-down and cheering participants on at our finishing location in Redmond, WA as well as Tent Volunteers to help with set-up and take-down at our camp in Mt. Vernon.
All volunteers will receive reference letters for the hours they work, snacks and drinks on event and a Ride to Conquer Cancer t-shirt. This event is truly an inspiring event benefitting a great cause.
