During this amazing weekend, thousands join together to Ride in the battle against cancer. The event unites thousands of individuals who have been touched by cancer, or want to make a difference. They Ride in hope, to commemorate life, to honor lives lost, to celebrate survival, and to contribute to finding a cure.
Description
The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique two day bike ride from Vancouver to Seattle happening on August 29th - 30th 2015. All funds raised in the event benefit cancer research, treatment and education programs. On Saturday, August 29th th Participants in the event ride from Vancouver to Mount Vernon. They finish the first day at The Ride to Conquer Cancer Camp at in Mount Vernon. On Sunday August 30th Participants ride from Mt. Vernon to Redmond, WA.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with set-up, take-down and cheering participants on at our finishing location in Redmond, WA as well as Tent Volunteers to help with set-up and take-down at our camp in Mt. Vernon.
All volunteers will receive reference letters for the hours they work, snacks and drinks on event and a Ride to Conquer Cancer t-shirt. This event is truly an inspiring event benefitting a great cause.
