Food for the Hungry volunteers helps end poverty for the world's most vulnerable people. We rely on our volunteer groups to help register new potential sponsors as well as help us to manage a large file of child sponsors. We work daily to get material into the hands of new sponsors. The dedication of our volunteers is life-changing for vulnerable children all over the world. You’ll also find that there is value in volunteering when considering college applications and other character-building requirements.

The mission of Food for the Hungry is highly dependent on our groups of faithful volunteers.

....what type of work we would be doing?

Currently, the nature of volunteer work is in our Phoenix office. We could use individuals with attention to detail as we service over 150,000 child sponsors through assembling child sponsorship packets, stuffing envelopes, and other administrative tasks. We could use your help during the upcoming months as we have shifted our Sponsorship appeal for our Artist Program Concerts and our yearly communication project "Get to Know Me Better" mailing. If you volunteer with us on these projects you will get an opportunity to observe the behind-the-scenes of the transformational work that FH does all over the world. We could use your help!
You can begin as early as tomorrow.

What is your current volunteer availability in one or more of the following ways:
On an as-needed basis (on-call)
Three hours a day once a week
Multiple days (2-3 days three hours a day)
Specific need? Reach out and we will see what we can do!

You will volunteer at our main office located at 2 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004. We ask that you volunteer for at least 2 hours between the hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
