ORGANIZATION: Cherokee Family Violence Center

DESCRIPTION:

  • The Receptionist is primarily responsible for answering telephones and greeting guests and clients who visit and call our main office in Canton, Georgia. Basic administrative tasks and assistance to office personnel and the victims we serve will also be included in this position’s duties. Two days of in-person volunteer training, and a minimum of ten additional hours of shadowing staff members are required for this role. The hours for this position are flexible, but typically occur between the hours of 9AM and 5PM, Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers phone calls using proper procedure
  • Provide information and referrals as necessary
  • Greet incoming clients and guests
