ACE- Academic and Career Excellence- Center at The Midnight Mission offers various programs to bridge the divide between homelessness and self-sufficiency; education is key in the path to recovery, employment, and ultimately self-sufficiency. Our education program is volunteer dependent. We need dedicated, caring, experienced volunteers to facilitate instruction in GED, computer literacy, and remediation courses in Adult Basic Education. We need someone who can be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9-5pm. We will work with your schedule. The adoration and gratitude for your services is indefinite.
We are currently searching for caring and passionate candidates to lead instruction in Basic Computer Skills, Intermediate Reading, Basic Math, Art, and one-to-one tutoring in reading and math.
All materials and curriculum is provided; however, we are very flexible and enjoy the creativity and uniqueness each instructor brings.
