Non-profit for girls and women in Wayne County, NC is seeking two Interns/Assistants to assist the Executive Director with weekly operations and programmatic development. The Executive Director has years of non-profit and business management experience and is seeking interns to assist with the following tasks:
*Program Development and Planning
*Fundraising Planning/Event Coordination
*Transportation and Field Trip Chaperoning
*Outreach and Recruitment
*Website Management
*Documentation
All duties assigned will be taught prior to delivery, so knowledge of the above tasks is not required, but desired. Please note that this is an unpaid internship, so there is absolutely no pay involved, but students can earn internship credits/volunteer hours as desired.
This is a work from home, library or designated meeting spot position, so it gives you the ability to work a full-time/part-time job or attend school while still getting experience working with a non-profit organization.
We are looking for interns/assistants that are females because our program focuses on girls ages 10-16. Seeking individuals available to start ASAP.

Description
PrimaDonna, Incorporated is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization created in 2008 to promote hope, love and self-sufficiency in girls. Our focus is to reach out to female youth ages 10-18, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas, and encourage them to pursue education and the arts. PrimaDonna, Inc. is determined to prepare our girls to become independent leaders in today's ever-changing modern society. We want to put an end to teen dropout events and pregnancies in our area by providing our girls with the tools and outlets needed to be successful within their homes, schools and communities.
What do we actually do? We sponsor girls in Mount Olive and Goldsboro to attend dance classes, athletic camps, assist with college prep, host self-esteem building workshops and facilitate evening/weekend programs focused on goal setting. We meet with our program participants once a week after-school, two Saturday’s per month for cultural enrichment or volunteering outings and one Sunday per month for church.
