Description

PrimaDonna, Incorporated is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization created in 2008 to promote hope, love and self-sufficiency in girls. Our focus is to reach out to female youth ages 10-18, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas, and encourage them to pursue education and the arts. PrimaDonna, Inc. is determined to prepare our girls to become independent leaders in today's ever-changing modern society. We want to put an end to teen dropout events and pregnancies in our area by providing our girls with the tools and outlets needed to be successful within their homes, schools and communities.

What do we actually do? We sponsor girls in Mount Olive and Goldsboro to attend dance classes, athletic camps, assist with college prep, host self-esteem building workshops and facilitate evening/weekend programs focused on goal setting. We meet with our program participants once a week after-school, two Saturday’s per month for cultural enrichment or volunteering outings and one Sunday per month for church.
