We are looking for a volunteer for the local chapter of ChickTech. This opportunity would be to put on a workshop around Arduino technology. Examples would be building programmable jewelry, light up paper lantern and more!

Our ideal leader will have some or all of the below:

  • Experience with hardware
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • The ability to work in a collaborative style and move others to action by planning, motivating and organizing work tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that establish and maintain credibility and relationships
  • Event Planning experience

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build a workshop for Arduino technology

The main objectives:

  1. Recruit a team to create hands a hands on events for girls around Arduino tech.
  2. Provide and oversee comprehensive documentation to help identify best practices and keep the events in line with the organization’s mission and philosophy.
  3. Be responsible for working with your team of ChickTechies to cover what you need to be successful.
  4. Create quality reports and presentations as needed.
  5. Attend ChickTech meetings and facilitate communication between leadership team members.
  6. Keep in close connection with HQ and other chapters

Time Commitment: 2 hour per week leading with a workshop weekend in November that is 2 days.
