To assist the Family SPOT North Phoenix Family Coach in the implementation of 2 workshops (Messy Play or Kids in the Kitchen) designed to increase parents’ competence and confidence in parenting. We would love to have the same volunteer for both workshops, but it is not required.

Messy Play’s are the 3 rd Saturday of every month from 10-11:30am. Prep time begins at 9am.

Kids in the Kitchen are the 4 th Friday of every month from 10am-11:30am. Prep time begins at 9am.

Duties:

-Assist in the preparation for Messy Play and/or Kids in the Kitchen. This will include pre event prep, day of setting up of messy activities, food prep, helping assemble recipe cards, and take home activities.

-Help facilitate the workshop by providing instructions and guidance for parents and children as they work together to complete the activity.

-Assist in the cleanup at the conclusion of the workshop.

A background check is required with the cost ($35) incurred by the volunteer. If the volunteer already has a valid Arizona level one fingerprint card, then the background check is not necessary.
