Do you have a profound respect for and desire to serve terminally ill patients, families and caregivers? Become part of our Hospice Team and volunteer in:

Patient/Family Care - provide companionship to the patient and respite for the caregiver, including making visits, reading, writing letters, and meal preparation.

Bereavement - offer support to families and friends of the deceased patient.

Administrative Support - provide clerical support including mailing and other office projects.

Pet Therapy - offer psychosocial, emtional and physical comfort to patients through visits with their certified therapy dog.

Massage Therapy - offer comfort to patients using gentle massage techniques designed specifically for this population. Volunteers must be a Massage Therapist who has completed an accredited program.

Vigil - provide a bedside presence at the eleventh hour.

Required training on the philosophy of hospice care and understanding the responsibilities of caring for patients and their families will be provided. Training will give you the self-confidence to serve at the office or in a patient's home.
