Work out in a beautiful place and help us maintain pathways and keep the garden beds looking well-tended. The work varies from season to season and includes raking, weeding, light brush removal, planting, and other garden tasks. We are particularly looking for volunteers for Sunday mornings, but we also have gardening groups available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Mission Statement

Leach Botanical Garden is a place of natural beauty and respite where everyone is welcome. Leach Garden Friends maintains the plant collections for the purposes of enjoyment, education, research, and conservation. The Garden is a treasure connecting people, place, and plants through discovery and delight, featuring northwest native plants, a three-season pollinator garden, an aerial tree walk, and other unique collections and garden spaces.

Description

Many dedicated volunteers keep Leach Garden humming. They welcome visitors, provide tours of the Garden, and staff the Gift Shop. They rake trails and weed garden beds, tend our Habitat Enhancement outdoor classroom area, and assist with events and fundraisers. We encourage you to visit the garden and become a volunteer!
