Do you have the hospice heart? Wings of Hope Hospice is looking for caring, compassionate volunteers to provide support to those facing a life-threatening illness, and their loved ones. Responsibilities include companionship for the patient, staying with the patient while their caregiver takes a needed break, light housekeeping, and running errands. Volunteers need to be dependable and commit to two or more hours weekly or every other week. Training is provided. Description

Wings of Hope Hospice provides end-of-life care for people who are not expected to live longer than six months. We improve understanding, increase comfort, relieve the pain and fear of dying, and help patients live more abundantly for their remaining months, weeks, or days in the embrace of lovesd ones, and the comfort of home.
