Who are we?

One Community is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit sustainability think-tank and implementation organization.

What is the project?

We are seeking someone to work with our Executive Director and music composer to create a new intro video to replace the one on our homepage: www.onecommunityglobal.org. We'd like to do this using Final Cut Pro and Motion.

Who are You?

You're a fantastic team leader, a visionary, and a seasoned video editor with expertise overseeing complex video projects from ideation to screen. You have strong working knowledge with Final Cut Pro and Motion video and audio editing.


What are the Video Production and Editing Manager details?

We are looking for your help 5-10 hours a week for approximately 60-90 days. You will meet weekly via video conference with our Executive Director and music composer.

The general feel and look we are seeking would be to start with a slow and emotional start like this: https://vimeo.com/120731798

The script would be an emotional "better is possible" first 30 seconds of "emotional hook." Then an adapted version of the script (from the first 27 seconds) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvxQ0ylmetc Total time for this part would be 1 minute. Then we want to transition to something like this: https://vimeo.com/125195029

For about the first 15-30 seconds of this part, we could possibly eliminate the script and just go with audio and images, showing what we’ve created in the same format you see there (at about the 16 second mark) while flashing "Food" "Housing" "Education" "Recreation" "Economics" and "Earth Stewardship" on the screen along with rapid-fire images timed to great music and then finishing with another 20-30 seconds of a "It’s happening, get involved" type of call-to-action script that leaves people inspired and excited.
