Help care for the Laguna and restore critical wildlife habitat- become a Laguna Steward!

Each month we offer a different opportunity to take part in ensuring a brighter future for the Laguna. Tasks vary depending on the season and include removing old irrigation hardware from successful restoration projects, sewing seeds, planting native plants and trees, and weeding. Joining the Laguna Stewards is a fun and meaningful way to volunteer while enjoying the outdoors and sharing the company of like-minded people.

We meet once a month, usually the second or third Saturday of the month, from 9am-noon. Meeting location varies each month. You can come once or multiple times. No RSVP is required. Only heavy rain cancels. Please RSVP only if you are planning on bringing a group of 8 or more people so that we can have enough snacks and supplies. Snacks and tools are provided but please bring water, gloves and friends!

Details of the site location announced 1-2 weeks in advance of the workday (various sites along the Laguna in Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park and Cotati). To get directions to the work sites, please email: volunteer@lagunafoundation.org
