Volunteers painted for GPC

Every year, Global Paint for Charity selects a property to makeover as our Summer Painting Project.

This year, we have selected a Single-Mom Veteran Homeowner in Westside Atlanta. She has lived here for eight years. Ms. Pulliam has a son, and she is a Veteran of the Air Force and ranked Airman 1st Class! We will be completing this project, September 14th, from 9am-2pm!

Her hopes for this project is to be able to repair and paint her home and garage, siding repairs, driveway, mailbox, gutters, garden, and step rails. This is something our organization is very excited to put together for this single mom and Air Force veteran, but for this to be a success, we need your help!

We are looking for volunteers to help with painting, siding and driveway repair, pressure washing, landscaping, and woodwork experience. We are also looking for supplies such as paint supplies, paint sprayers, rollers, roller handles, paint brushes, ladders, gloves, nails, etc. Any items or ways you can help would be greatly appreciated. We want Ms. Pulliam and her son to feel safe, happy, and love their new home when we leave there!

Background:
Global Paint for Charity collects leftover paint from both residential households and commercial businesses nationwide and uses it for global housing rehabilitation projects. Through our efforts, we allow people to enjoy the beauty of their home, schools, sports fields, churches, orphanages, women centers, hospitals, and local homeless shelters through every gallon of donated paint. Through our outstanding and visionary leadership, we provided paint and beautification products to needy charities and vulnerable individuals in developing countries around the world, as well as targeting domestic communities in the United States. As many as 5000 to 6000 gallons of paint have been shipped at a time to 34 countries in West Africa, Central and Latin America, the Caribbean, and war-torn areas of the Middle East and beyond.

With your donation to Global Paint for Charity, you can help give a family hope and provide them with the quality of paint so desperately needed. Your paint and monetary donations will help transform communities and change lives in the U.S. and developing countries around the world. It is a real win-win for us all. Clean out your garage/basement and help someone else improve their living space around the world.
