Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for Volunteers to assist the FCS Foundation with in-office administrative responsibilities. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).Some phone work will also be included.
These volunteers are helping to support our mission of supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment in the state of Florida with their non-medical financial needs.
Answer phone and take phone messages at Foundation. Make assigned follow up calls for Foundation
Assist with written correspondence, letters, emails and other related correspondence
Create and send acknowledgement notices to donors, sponsors and attendees
Assist with Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for Foundation
Assist with follow up communication to vendors, sponsors, etc.
