ORGANIZATION: ANOKA COUNTY RSVP

Help NACE with light office tasks while greeting clients and making them feel welcome. There are many shifts available for 2-5 hours different days of the week. You choose the day of the week that works best for you!

  • Monday 8:45 - Noon
  • Tuesday afternoons 4:45 - 8:00 PM
  • Wednesdays in May 12:30 to 4:00 PM
  • Possibly Thursday afternoons
  • Possibly Friday mornings

Commitment of one shift per week of your choosing. Customer service experience a plus or being able to relate with clients.

Calling all organizing wizards! If you are organized and like clothes - NACE needs your expertise to sort cloths, organize and help clients choose items that make them feel confident. Shifts are available on Tuesday afternoons from 4:45-8:00 PM.

Special Events:

  • May 14th Stamp Out Hunger! A group of 6-8 people per shift are needed to lift heavy food shelf donations. Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather.
  • May 16-26: Help sort food at NACE. This includes determining useable food. This can be done in groups, families. Shifts will be available for 2-4 hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Choose what works best for you or your group of friends.

The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and over who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County who need volunteers. Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits. Become one of nearly a half million RSVP volunteers across the country who are making a difference in their community.
