TheNAT is looking for enthusiastic high school students who enjoy working with children for our Summer Camp. Camp Aides assist instructors with running a variety of fun activities such as behind-the-scenes tours, hikes, crafts, and science activities with student campers from Pre-K to 8th grade. It’s a great way to learn, share your knowledge, gain experience, and earn your community service hours.
These are week long camps. Shifts are 8 AM-4:30 PM. There are a small number of Pre-K camps that are from 8 AM-1 PM. We ask for a minimum commitment of 2 weeks and 3 is preferred. Dates are June 18-August 24, 2018.
There are two to three camps per week, and we need two to three volunteers per camp. Minimum age is 16 or turning 16 during the summer. There is a mandatory orientation that will be held prior to the start of camps. Date to be determined. Apply now by going to sdnhm.org/volunteers.
