Beep Beep. Yeah! You've got a ticket to rides. Help a senior get around.
There are seniors waiting for rides in every area of King County. Many are not able to get to the doctor frequently enough due to lack of transportation and things like carrying groceries on the bus or shuttle can be almost impossible. Improve the health and social life for a senior in your community by taking them to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings. 1-4 hours a month is a game-changer for many seniors. Mileage reimbursement included! On-call opportunities are available!
Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair, and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, complete a Washington State Patrol background check and attend a brief orientation.
For more information about this opportunity or others, Please select the "I Want to Help" button. An email will be sent to you with additional information regarding our program and the application forms. You can make a difference!
Please note: Following the guidelines of King County Public Health during COVID-19, volunteer opportunities may be subject to change.

"See how they love one another." Our mission is to help elders and adults with disabilities remain independent in their own home by providing chore assistance and transportation from volunteers at no cost to the individual.
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adutls and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
