The Mission Community Beacon at Everett Middle School provides afterschool programming, support during the school day itself, and parent engagement through collaboration with program partners.

On Tuesdays thru Thursdays at 4:25 we have group recreation club and are looking for volunteers who can spend time with our middle school students and develop meaningful relationships while helping groups of students safely play outside. This is a great opportunity to hang out with some students.

At the Beacon, each day our students receive targeted academic interventions in study hall and then get to explore their interests in various electives, including science club, dance, recreation, STEM club, and more. Jump in and join us in our dynamic afterschool program!

The program meets at Everett Middle School (450 Church Street, SF CA 94114) from 3:30 - 6:00pm Monday-Thursday. On Fridays we have program from 12:30-6:00pm, which includes a fun field trip.

Note: The school year began August 17, but we can get started on paperwork and have you ready to begin!
