Who are we?
One Community is a 501c3 non-profit sustainability think-tank and implementation organization.
What is the project?
We are in the structural engineering phase for an open source and duplicable City Center. It is a sustainable eco-village center purposed to save resources and help model a redefinition of how people choose to live. This structure will function as a recreation center, large-scale dining hall, large-scale laundry facility, and eco-tourism accommodations.
Who are you?
You are passionate about sustainability and have a desire to share your engineering skills, co-creating positive change with like-minded people. You're a leader, a visionary and a person with engineering expertise desiring to help us with structural engineering for foundation, columns, beams, etc.
What are the Structural Engineer details?
We are looking for your help 5-10 hours a week for approximately 60-90 days. You will work closely with our Project Manager to evaluate our needs and help with strutural drawings & details for the foundation, columns, beams, etc. for a pre-existing City Center design plan.
