We are seeking a volunteer Outreach Coordinator for our online conservation media magazine, Voices for Biodiversity (V4B). V4B uses the ancient art of storytelling to share the stories of people from around the globe in order to help all species survive and thrive together. The e-zine has won the American Anthropological Associations’ Anthropology in Media Award in 2014. In 2015 the e-zine won the award for best website from New Mexico Press Women and the National Federation of Press Women. The ezine can be found at: www.voicesforbiodiversity.org
This position offers an excellent opportunity to build upon experience and connections in the public relations, marketing and outreach fields. As our Outreach Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in implementing outreach activities and events and finding sponsors for V4B through 1% for the Planet.
This is a virtual opportunity that can be completed anywhere with reliable internet access. Our Outreach Assistant will work under the supervision of our Outreach Coordinator.
