A Free Bird is a 501(C)(3)non-profit organization based in New York City. Our focus is to provide children, ages 6-18 who are patients or survivors of juvenile cancer, the opportunity to explore their artistic passions and give them the strength to fight their disease. We believe that artistic expression is critical for healing! A Free Bird supports children affected by cancer in their exploration of art, music, acting, poetry, writing, singing and any other artistic passion they may have.

What does this job entail?

Someone who is outgoing, sales oriented, and hard working, and does not mind speaking to people face to face.

This is a volunteer position where you will help our volunteers (including you!) receive in kind donations from supporting companies, usually smaller companies, ones that support local communities.

This would entail 10-15 hours per week and can be done on week days or weekends. Must be able to meet at least once per week and keep consistent communication via email, phone, in person, text.
