50/50 Leadership's mission is to promote women's equal leadership. We have programs to level the playing field so that everyone has the opportunity to be a leader at work, school or in the community.
Our current program is providing financial literacy workshops and one-on-one mentoring to young women and men who have grown up in foster care, are homeless, have been incarcerated or have escaped domestic violence or sex trafficking.
To highlight those that complete our program, we will be holding a gala on April 26th, 2020, and we will be doing video interviews during January and February of both the mentors and mentees. We want to show them at their best and so we are asking that you bring your talent and skill to making them shine.
Our videographer will coordinate schedules that work for everyone.
We hope you will join our volunteer team.

Description
Established in 2004, we provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, been incarcerated, been unhoused, and/or survived gender-based violence. In the past, we led leadership training programs and honored women who are making a difference around the world.
We feel that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to realize their leadership potential. Whether they are a leader in their home, at work, school or in the community.
We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up more than half of the U.S. population and should be equally included in boardrooms, elected offices, academia, and all public and private enterprises and endeavors.
