ORGANIZATION: Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice

We are seeking caring, driven companionship volunteers for Hospice patients in the Greater Cleveland area-- specifically Ashtabula and Eastern Lake Counties

Hospice is a special kind of caring. Hospice care is patient and family centered, and
seeks to provide support and comfort to those facing a life limiting illness. Volunteers
play a large role in this effort by sharing their skills and interests in a manner that
enriches the quality of life for those they serve. Nationally, over 100,000 people serve as
hospice volunteers and give millions of hours of their time to serve terminally ill patients
and their families.

Companionship volunteers can engage in conversation or watch tv with the patients, reading or other activities, or "just being there". Enjoy bringing companionship and joy to a Hospice patient while also enjoying a flexible schedule, and visiting patients close to where you live.

We follow all current CDC guidelines related to COVID-19, and provide volunteers with all necessary and appropriate PPE during visits.
