Turning the Page is currently recruiting volunteers to serve as Student Workshop Volunteers during our Community Night programs. Volunteers are an intergal part of supporting Turning the Page's family engagement efforts in our seven Ward 8 DC Public Schools. Volunteers work with Pre-K-8th grade students on literacy based activities while parents are working with other parents and their child's teachers.

Community Night programs are held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings with times varying from approximately 3:30-8:00pm at TTP's partner schools. There are many events scheduled throughout the spring and we are looking for both long-term and short-term volunteers!

Note: The opportunity address is the address to the Turning the Page's office. All service opportunities will be at one of Turning the Page's partner school sites (Southeast Washington, DC). TTP can assist with metro pick-up from the location closest to the school site.
