Join our team at PAL Humane Society! Volunteers are needed to help staff fun community events and expos. Outreach at events is critical to PAL operations, helping share our message with the public, engaging the community at fun events, and enhancing opportunities for donations and community support.
Tasks:
Event volunteers help with set-up and tear-down and hosting booths at fun community events and expos throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Volunteers at events help PAL spread our message of animal compassion and kindness, let people know about our programs and services, may help sell merchandise from our gift shop, and accept pet food and monetary donations.
Upcoming Events/Volunteer Opportunities:
- Homeless Connect at Cashman Center - Nov. 15th
- Ongoing monthly dining to donate fundraisers at various restaurants
- Spring and fall fundraiser events
- Community festivals and expos
Training:
Training includes an orientation meeting with our Volunteer Coordinator and specific training with staff about working at events.
Qualifications:
Friendly and respectful personality. Compassionate about animals and people in our community. Access to a vehicle and ability to travel to fair or expo may be required for some events.

Description
PALNV is a nonprofit organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place for the animals that do not have homes. PALNV partners with The Animal Foundation, TNR Trappers and Colony Feeders to take in cats facing homelessness on the streets and house them in our Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe. Once they are at our cafe, our staff and fosters care for the cats and kittens, working with them to get ready for adoption. They stay with us until they find their forever homes and as our cats are adopted, we reach out to our partners to bring us more cats and kittens thus being a part of the solution to saving our community cats.
PALNV is the Nevada Affiliate for Rescue Bank, a program of GreaterGood.org. We work with 501c3 rescues, feral cat organizations and pet food pantries to provide pet food which helps the organizations so they can use their dollars for medical care, adoptions and supplies.
PALNV has been in business since 1993. The organization started in Victorville, CA and moved their operations to Las Vegas in 2014. We are now located on N Rancho Drive near W Craig Road.
Volunteers are vital to our operations here at PALNV. We continually seek to expand our programs with volunteer support. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations and volunteer efforts to help us achieve our goals and saving our communities at risk cats.
