This is a free class. It is 24 hours of training in personal and family preparedness, team organization, disaster psychology, disaster medical operations (no medical training required), light search and rescue, fire safety, and recognizing possible terrorism. Upon completion, you will receive a free backpack with preparedness tools.
We will meet every Tuesday and Thursday From June 6 to June 29, 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson.

Description
Homeland Preparedness Project trains citizens to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and other disasters.
Through programs like Citizen Corp, HPP facilitates volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to become involved in Emergency Management.
