To make America safer by empowering its citizens and first responders by: Providing training to first responders. Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers. Providing/facilitating volunteer opportunities. Enhancing community preparedness for and response to natural and man-made disasters and other emergencies. Educating citizens about preparedness and response to emergencies. Providing resources to emergency management agencies. Assisting local government agencies with creating and managing citizen volunteer programs related to Emergency Preparedness. Encouraging personal responsibility for Emergency Preparedness.


Homeland Preparedness Project trains citizens to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and other disasters.

Through programs like Citizen Corp, HPP facilitates volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to become involved in Emergency Management.

Excellent informative program for anyone who lives in this area. There are many dangers lurking out there and knowing how to be prepared is key to keeping yourself and love ones safe. That what the Homeland Preparedness Project does.
