TPR has and eager and energetic core group of volunteers, but we need direction and advice on how to expand our ranks so we can help more of America's Horses and Heroes! Help with writing ads, where to look and how to spread the word as well as how to vet and manage volunteers so we can match the right skill sets with the right needs of those we assist. Someone to advise, consult and answer questions would make a world of differenct to our mission.

We are an all volunteer organization that has rehomed over 1000 retired Thoroughbred racehorses since 2007. We also have an integreted program for America's Wounded Warriors, Veterans, Active Service and their families within our retired racehorse retraining program.

The demand for our expertise continues to expand as does our need for resources to do this very important work. We are great at working with horses and finding them new lives when their careers end, but we don't know much about fundraising. We have a great group of volunteers who need guidance on how to raise funding to expand our work to help even more horses. We are willing to do the work, we just need someone with the expertise to guide us and show us the way!
