Mystic Valley Opportunity Center
General Description:
The Mystic Valley Opportunity Center is looking for volunteers and interns to provide overall support to staff with administrative duties around the center.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Update client appointment book
- Conduct intake for programs and assist clients with application process
- Perform data entry and assist with maintaining computerized databases
- Assist with client file maintenance
- Answer phones and greet clients as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work with families, youth and adults of diverse ethnicities
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer Knowledge, preferably in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Mandarin preferred
Length of Commitment:
ASAP - ongoing
Schedule (including day and time if applicable):
Flexible schedule for 10 to 15 hours a week between Monday and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
