The American Cancer Society is looking to expand our volunteer base here in Portland to better engage the greater Portland communty in the fight against cancer! As a volunteer driven organziation, we have a wide variety of opportunities for all interests and skillsets and we need all sorts of committed and passionate people to help us come closer to finishing the fight against this disease!

Some of our opportunities include:

-Community event development leadership team members

-Volunteers for our local cancer patient programs and services

-Advocates interested in supporting our legislative work in Salem

-Young/early in career professionals to sit on our Associate Board or Task Force

All of our volunteer opportunities will help develop your skills, grow your network in Portland and truly impact the fight against cancer locally, across Oregon and around the world! We offer role specific training, flexibility in time commitment and opportunities to act as local leaders and decision makers in how we implement our programs in the Portland community.
