We are looking for a compassionate, culturally savvy, and determined volunteer/intern/advocate to help us with various community service and outreach needs. The ideal candidate will share our team's passion for global education and the cultivation of global leaders.

Bright Light Volunteers is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, designed to empower program participants and community partners through education and service. Specifically, our programs adhere to global service-learning best practices, which combine community service with both experiential learning in the field and online coursework through our university partner. Our vision is to make the world a brighter place by creating a more peaceful, just, interconnected world where global challenges and opportunities are met by educated, compassionate, global citizens and leaders.

Tasks/Responsibilities may include:

  • Representing BLV at various community get togethers and presentations
  • Approaching new groups to get involved with us in our mission
  • Serving as an active spokesperson for our causes
  • Developing relationships with teachers, corporate HQ leaders, and schools in many different manners, including public presentations.
