Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps

The mission of the Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps (RMRC) is to assist the Rappahannock Area Health District in its response to local public health emergencies and to participate in other health department programs to improve the health of the community. Our unit serves Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties, as well as the City of Fredericksburg. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us carry out this mission.

The Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps recruits practicing, retired or otherwise employed medical professionals, as well as community members with non-medical skills. Physicians, pharmacists, nurses, epidemiologists and paramedics are just a sampling of the medical community who are RMRC members. Clergy, interpreters, sign language interpreters, administrative assistants, volunteer coordinators and all other members of our community are also encouraged to consider becoming a part of the RMRC.

Join us in protecting the health and safety of our community!
