Planting day volunteers at work
Join us as a planting volunteer at a Friends of Trees planting!

Are you interested in helping the environment? Learning more about trees? Making a big difference in the community in just a few hours? If you said "Yes", then join us at Veteran's Creek to plant native trees and shrubs! All are welcome, no experience needed!

Please arrive by 8: 45am to register and be assigned a crew. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots. Breakfast refreshments and coffee / hot chocolate are provided to get everyone started on the right foot!

RSVPs are not required, you may simply show up (although we do require that you let us know if you're organizing a group larger than 5 members). Please contact Randi or Jenny at 503-595-0213 or Volunteer@FriendsofTrees.org if you have any questions or need more information. We look forward to seeing you out there!

This is in partnership with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council and Portland Parks & Recreation with support from East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District and Metro.
