Summary:
The Marketing Department volunteer will assist in growing and developing our newspaper/magazine/church contact database. This will allow us to further our reach and impact as we share stories about "raising children who transform nations." **This can be a virtual volunteer, but the volunteer must come by the COTN office in Silverdale when asked.
Responsibilities:- Research new contacts/newspapers that the Marketing Department should be sending press releases to
- Add these new contacts to our existing Excel database
- Focus on newspapers in markets around the United States that are applicable for Children of the Nations (areas where we already have partners, etc.)
Schedule:
Part-time, as able to serve

Description
Children of the Nations (COTN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. Founded in 1995, the organization currently provides holistic care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda,Liberia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. By partnering with nationals, they establish full-care residential Children's Homes (for orphans) and Village Partnership Programs (to benefit orphans and children living with destitute families or caregivers who are unable to properly provide for them). Children of the Nations believes that true, lasting, and meaningful change to a nation begins with the children, and so they are their mission.
