Bring conversation and your housework skills to an isolated senior in your neighborhood!
Volunteer Services connects a volunteer 1:1 with a senior or adult with disabilities on a fixed income to work in their home doing light housework while chatting and visiting. Your listening can be just as beneficial as the cleaning. We have many seniors in need and can match you literally minutes from your home. Your help taking out the trash, sweeping the floors, and reaching things she cannot grab can keep her living independently!
VS is a program of Catholic Community Services. Reigstration packet, including background check is required. The senior is flexible - You volunteer on the days and times that work for you.

Description
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adults and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
