  • So you may be thinking - Hurricane Irma /Maria are long gone and things are back in order.
  • Unfortunately, not true.
  • There are lots of existing and new evacuee students in Polk Schools who have been left homeless and more anticipated after March 10th, 2018 when FEMA closes temporary shelters.
  • Here is how you, your family, neighbors, club/church can help now.
  • From your home, school, clubhouse or church - collect & package Hygiene Kits to be given to these students.
Hygiene kits are individual Gallon-Size Bags to be filled with NEW FULL-SIZED:
  • Bath soap,
  • Deodorant,
  • Brush/Comb,
  • Washcloths,
  • 2 in 1 Shampoo/Conditioner,
  • Toothbrushes & Toothpaste.
  • Gift cards for food, gas, and clothing are other beneficial resources for Hearth students and families.
  • Supplies have been exhausted due to Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Your help is greatly appreciated!
  • This is a great project for individuals of most ages, clubs, civic groups, employee volunteer teams, church groups, etc. and could even be done at your workplace, company picnic, church, clubhouse or meeting site.
