Grace Hospice is seeking Volunteers in the Mt. Orab area to visit with patients and their families. Volunteers are compassionate visitors who spend time with a patient (and their family members) during the patient's illness. Volunteering with Hospice can be a life changing and up lifting experience. Taking one hour a week to visit a person in need whose greatest joy is the gift of time that you give them in their hour of need can change your life and theirs.
Training is provided in our Norwood office. UA/TB test/Fingerprinting is paid for by Grace. Please visit www.ghospice.com for more information.

Mission Statement
For each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.
Description
Hospice is the only health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At HarmonyCares, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.
HarmonyCares Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement are a vital part of our team.
