Brite Nites 2016 Volunteer Opportunities Brite Nites Volunteer Descriptions:
Café Manager: Manage the Café.
Café General Help: Set up food and drinks in café, refill as needed, help to serve. Others will help sell Halloween themed items.Baked Goods: Volunteering to bring baked goods is bringing the baked goods to the cafe, you don’t have to stay. (For WFA Community Gardeners: Donating one slot of baked goods in I-Volunteer is equivalent to volunteering 1 hour and one could only sign up for 1 time slot of baked goods to count as 1 of the 4 hours of Brite Nite service hours per plot. )
Security: Will patrol the grounds, within the Garden, around the café, near the entrance and parking lot. Will need to keep an eye on crowd control and report any problems to police immediately. Walkie Talkies will be provided. Adults only.
Parking: Will help direct cars into and out of parking area. Responsible for safety of attendees walking in parking area and crossing the street. Safety vests, and lights will be provided. Adults only.
Volunteer Coordinator/runners: Will help check in volunteers and direct them to the proper area. Will check in on volunteers to see if they are in need of anything throughout the night. Requires a general knowledge of each area of the event and each position. Training will be provided. This is a preferred multi night position.
Entry Gate/Haunted Hollow: Crowd control into the Haunted Hollow.
Haunted Hollow: These are dress up required positions. Please dress in old jeans and flannel shirts, they may get makeup/fake blood on them. Most will have masks provided. If you have your own costume, please let us know. Figures include, witch, scarecrows, werewolf and others. Some will be part of the haunted hollow others will be path guides that will assist attendees and guide them through the hollow.
Pumpkin Path Guides: Directing attendees through the path, making sure everyone is safe and not touching displays. Adults only.Clean Up: Help to tear down and clean up after Brite Nites.
