Wagner Farm Arboretum seeks to enrich, educate and inspire the community by increasing environmental awareness and recreational opportunities. The Wagner Farm Arboretum Foundation is a non-profit fund raising organization supporting a suburban conservancy and learning center on the former Wagner Farm.
Our Gardens in Action - Giving Garden The Giving Garden Project is dedicated to growing fresh, organic produce for those in need and is run by volunteers. In the past 7 years, the Giving Garden Project has donated over 150,000 pounds of produce to local area food banks. The Growing to Give Program is also run by volunteers who visit local elementary classrooms to help students plant vegetable seeds and then help them plant their seedlings in the Giving Garden. This hands-on gardening experience gives children a chance to learn about sustainability, conservation, food systems and giving back to the community. Children’s Garden Approximately ½ acre, the Children’s Garden is a place to discover, explore, observe, and play. Alphabet garden, mazes, Fairy Gardens and pollinator friendly plantings are just a few of the attractions in the Children’s Garden. Community Garden Over 110 plots are available to rent in this open, dedicated space at Wagner Farm Arboretum.
