About

Are you interested in helping the environment? Learning more about trees? Making a big difference in the community in just a few hours? Then join us to plant native trees and shrubs at King City Park in King City, OR! All are welcome, no experience needed!

Please arrive by 8:45am to register and be assigned a crew. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots. Breakfast refreshments and coffee / hot chocolate are provided to get everyone started on the right foot!

RSVPs are not required, you may simply show up (although we do require that you let us know if you're organizing a group larger than 5 members). Please contact Randi or Jenny at 503-595-0213 or Volunteer@FriendsofTrees.org if you have any questions or need more information. We look forward to seeing you out there!

This planting is the first of two this season at King City Park in partnership with King City and and Clean Water Services. This planting is also a part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade! Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program.
