4Paws is a rescue group for cats and kittens with foster homes based in the DC area. We have no shelter and supplies are frequently moved between foster homes and other locations. In addition, cats need to be transported for a variety of reasons. Requests are usually flexible to fit the volunteer's schedule. Most frequent need for transportation is on the weekend and during the day on weekdays.

Mission Statement
The 4Paws Rescue Team is a nonprofit community-based all volunteer organization that takes in neglected, abandoned, abused and unwanted cats and kittens. Cats rescued by 4Paws receive vaccines and appropriate veterinary care before being adopted into permanent, loving homes. An animal rescued by 4Paws will never be euthanized except out of medical necessity.
Description
We are a group of volunteers caring for cats in our homes and in area store cages until they are adopted. We hold adoption fairs at local Petco stores.
