The role of Social Media volunteer will be to assist the staff in promoting There With Care of the Bay Area to the communith through social media outlets (primarily facebook, twitter).
This role would suit someone who has some experience of marketing and social media, either through education, work or volunteering.
Qualifications include:
- Familiar with using social media and other online tools to generate interest in our non profit.
- Excellent communicator and able to write clearly.
- Flexible with their time to update social media channels.
The volunteer will be expected to contribute between 3-5 hours per month, or more as the volunteer is interested. The volunteer role can work remotely with some time at our warehouse (only if desired). The volunteer should also have in interest in non-profits, and families dealing with pediatric crisis.

Mission Statement
The mission of There With Care is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life's day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.
Description
The Bay Area Chapter was created in 2011, seven years after the founding chapter opened in Colorado. There With Care receives referrals from medical social workers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission Bay, San Francisco. When a family receives a medical diagnosis of critical illness for their child, There With Care connects with the family and engages community members and organizations to volunteer to help ease the stress of their day-to-day life activities.
