We need help with our Trap-Neuter-Release program for stray cats in Orange County. 100% of feral/stray cats brought to shelters are killed. In an effort to humanely decrease the over-population of stray cats and decrease the number of them dying at the shelters, help is needed trapping and transporting these forgotten animals.
Training and vouchers for Spay/Neuter are provided.

Mission Statement
Animals are the first and foremost priority of Second Chance Pet Adoptions. We are a No-Kill animal rescue. We seek homes for unwanted, abandoned or stray animals through the process of adoption, which includes a veterinary health check for the animal and screening of the prospective owner, to help ensure that the pet and its new owner will be compatible. If for any reason they are not compatible, we take back the pet, who will again be offered for adoption.
Description
Second Chance Pet Adoptions is a non-profit 501 C charitable organization that was formed to promote humane treatment and quality of life for all animals, rescue animals in need, reduce pet overpopulation and provide pet adoption services. We aim to prevent cruelty to animals through educational programs. We feel it is important to educate prospective owners and the general public about pet overpopulation and enforce a very strict spay/neuter policy for all our adopted pets. We do not yet have our own kennel facility, so all of the animals we take in live in "foster homes" or with their owners until they are adopted. Second Chance Pet Adoptions has no paid employees and does not receive funding from any government agency. We are staffed entirely by volunteers and obtain funds solely from adoption fees, fund-raisers, and donations. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. We can alway use toys, food, litter, beds, carriers, and of course money! Donations are only used for the direct care and maintenance of the animals.
