BE THERE WITH CARE - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 TH, 2016
An intimate and elegant evening at a beautiful outdoor setting at Holbrook Palmer Park in Atherton, our annual benefit event will raise funds and community awareness for There With Care of the Bay Area’s programs for families facing critical illness.
250 guests will mingle under the stars while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres followed by a delicious three-course meal featuring local and seasonal ingredients prepared by the talented chefs at Barbara Llewellyn Catering. After dinner, guests will have an opportunity to bid on a number of exclusive experiences in an exciting live auction or raise a paddle during the fund-a-family to directly support There With Care families. A highlight of the evening is always the family speaker who speaks about their personal journey through their child’s illness, and how our There With Care community makes a difference.

Mission Statement
The mission of There With Care is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life's day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.
Description
The Bay Area Chapter was created in 2011, seven years after the founding chapter opened in Colorado. There With Care receives referrals from medical social workers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission Bay, San Francisco. When a family receives a medical diagnosis of critical illness for their child, There With Care connects with the family and engages community members and organizations to volunteer to help ease the stress of their day-to-day life activities.
